“When I think about who I am, often the first things that come to mind are who I am not. I am not a professional counselor. I am not a pastor. I don’t have a degree in theology.
I am, simply – loved by God, first. And, I am learning to love others like Jesus. Join me!”
Alexis’ journey into writing and ministry began when she finally had the courage to face her own life experiences of grief, trauma, and loss. This journey has fueled her spiritual growth and fanned the flame of her desire to love people well and join Jesus in binding up other broken hearts. It is her privilege to encourage and support others on their journey beyond the barriers of heartache and hypocrisy to find healing and wholeness, as they move closer to the heart of God.
Alexis Carruthers serves with God Loves You First Ministries through which she offers resources and encouragement for people who are seeking healing, wholeness, and freedom for their own hearts and the hearts of others through a deeper understanding of God’s love.
